6x6 model contact by my loco hobby shop

About two year ago my loco hobby shop Roy's Train World put on a 6x6 model contest.  You are giving a 6x6 piece of MDF to build your model railroad scene on.  I picked a scene out of Used Cars that was film in phoenix on the old Magma Arizona line just east of the valley out side apache junction.

Here are the hoppers after I weathered them.

 and here is the finished product.

However I did not win.

Welcome Intro

Welcome to our proto-lance and Modeling blog on the Copper Belt Rail Lines. Over time I will update this blog with information on our layout plans and some video and photos of  its construction.  As we don't have the space right now to build it.  It is all in the plaining and design phase.

Also this blog will be a place for me to show you some of my modeling how to and tips.

So here is a little taste of my modeling.  The below video is of three color Nano LED's in a BLMA N scale signal head
